About “How Nature Speaks”
Containing artworks conceived by Danny Faria, How Nature Speaks” is the ninth album released by Superalma Project and brings the particularity of being at the same time a compilation rescue and an album that presents new tracks.
It’s important to emphasize that all tracks contained on this record were produced between 2019 and 2021, and even though they were composed in different moments and that they present different formulas and narrative strategies, when placed as an album, they established the dialogue and dynamics expected in an album.
The album title seeks to establish a connection between the musical creation dynamics on this record and how this dynamic is translated from the need imposed upon Igor Almeida.
“I live in an european pseudo-welfare state context in which all workers are forced to sell their labor power for crumbs. The driving force for the survival of this failed economic model is the forced need to submit to daily exploitation. There hasn’t been enough time for free and extended creative labor nor for fertile idleness.”

This reality that imposes itself on us and on the majority of the workers in the world has shaped not only the aesthetic-musical result of Superalma Project’s work, but also its relationship with making and enjoying music:
“There is more and more harshness and vehemence in this project , there is an increasing need to explore different paths that come from different musical references, there is also the urge to pervert the candour of these “norms”, creating something that is also noted for its brevity, also for its strangeness.
