TRISTEZA EN EL MUNDO DE LA MÚSICA, EL 23 DE DICIEMBRE DE 2013, CON LA MUERTE en SU DOMICILIO DE Shutesbury, Massachusetts, ESTADOS UNIDOS, A LOS 93 AÑOS DE EDAD, VÍCTIMA DE CÁNCER DE PRÓSTATA, DEL multiinstrumentista de jazz Yusef Lateef, conocido por su estilo innovador y la manera de adaptar estilos musicales de distintas partes del mundo al jazz.

William Emanuel Huddleston, QUIEN TERMINÓ POR SER RECONOCIDO CON EL NOMBRE DE Yusef Lateef, EL CUAL ADOPATARA A MEDIADOS DEL SIGLO XX AL convertirse al islam, HABÍA Nacido en Chatanooga, Tennessee, ESTADOS UNIDOS, el 9 de octubre de 1920, AUNQUE creció en Detroit y empezó tocando el saxo tenor a los 17 años.
