Contacto is a sexy and nocturnal electropop song that deals with reconnecting with your body; with dance, touch and movement; with your pulse and the pulse of the physical world. The vibe is all about living your new found freedom to the fullest. The song is the second release from Paraisos´ forthcoming first album, in which each song deals with reconnecting to a different sphere of life after a personal trauma. In this album, produced by Paraísos’ own Jose Castillo (recently nominated for a Grammy for his production and writing work in Bomba Estéreo´s latest album), Andrea and Jose take their indie-Caribbean aesthetic, to a more heavily dance-oriented, global sound, without losing touch with their Caribbean sensibility. The song features long distance collaborators Andrés Rebellón in the mix (Diamante Eléctrico, Cuco), and legendary Bjork, The Prodigy, and Arcade Fire collaborator, Damian Taylor in the Mastering. Contacto comes after first single Luna Nueva, which deals with the meaning of being alive after a near-death experience. |
